Education for life is an important part of our commitment to each child. By continually promoting high standards in the health of minds and bodies, we believe we are contributing significantly to the acquisition and development of life long habits.

  • All classes have 6 scheduled cookery lessons every year. These include learning about where the food comes from.

  • We teach safe use of ICT to all classes
  • We have an active Anti-Bullying Policy
  • We have a Governor with specific responsibility for anti-bullying
  • Our Behaviour Policy is clearly displayed and consistently applied
  • We promote inclusivity and equality in our provision
  • We carry out an annual analysis of all accidents
  • Our Sun Protection Policy encourages the use of sun hats and sun screen
  • The importance of sleep is included in our programme of work
  • We award termly certificates for excellent attendance
  • We have a schedule of visits from health professionals for all classes

  • Anti-bacterial gel is available in the outside areas
  • Handwashing advice is displayed in the toilet areas
  • We are a completely 'No Smoking' site
