Huttoft Service Station
Huttoft Service Station has three main services – a garage, petrol station and shop. The shop sells everyday items, such as bread or butter or water, and more. The garage will service and fix vehicles. They also sell used cars, so if you need a car, don't have one, and want to by one locally, come to Huttoft Service Station! The petrol station is on the forecourt of the garage.
Farmer Brown’s is an ice-cream parlour in Huttoft. They use their own milk to produce their ice-cream. There are not many ice-cream businesses doing this. During the winter the ice-cream parlour is closed but then opens in time for Easter! There are many flavours including Cookie and Cream, Chocolate, Strawberry and many more.
St. Margaret's Church
St. Margaret’s Church Huttoft is well known for its links with Sir John Betjeman (his poem called “A Lincolnshire Church” is set there). Worship on Sunday mornings is at 10:45 am. There is a notice board outside the church which gives details of any special events going on.
Village Hall and Post Office
The village hall is located in the centre of Huttoft and always has something going on every day. It is open to all ages. There is a Post Office inside the village hall two days a week: Mondays from 9:00am to 1:00pm, and Thursdays from 1:30pm to 5:30pm. The Post Office opened inside the village hall because the original Post Office on Alford Road closed down several years ago.
Huttoft Bank (beach)
Huttoft beach is a beautiful place and is perfect for children to play and dogs to stretch their legs (on a lead please).
Huttoft beach is a place for all ages. You can go paddling, build sand castles and much more. The sea might be cold but the sound of the crashing waves will urge you to get out there and have lots of fun, and meet lots of other friendly people from all around.
The thousands of people who come to Huttoft beach enjoy it so, so much, so get out there we’re sure you’ll love it.
Newhaven Rest Home
We enjoy sharing our music and history with the residents at Newhaven. They particularly enjoy our annual delivery of Harvest parcels. It was lovely to see so many of the residents cheering us on at Sports Day this year.
Local bus service
Regular buses run between Mablethorpe and Skegness with connections to Alford and Louth. See Stagecoach for further information.
